What kind of items does Poppy's Boutique accept?
At Poppyās Boutique, we handpick pieces that meet our standards for quality, condition, seasonality, and style - along with what we know our customers love.
We will be focused on the upcoming season, but can make exceptions for really special pieces.
While weāre not brand-focused, we tend to pass on fast fashion labels, as they typically have lower demand and resale value in our store.
What condition does my item need to be in?
Clothes must be freshly laundered, pressed, and free of stains, rips, or damages. View our Condition Standards.
How do I sell my pre-loved items at Poppy's Boutique?
Bring your items into our store. We'll inspect them and sell in our store and online on your behalf. Once sold, you'll receive a percentage of the selling price.
When will I receive payment for my sold items?
Payments to consignors are processed fortnightly on Thursdays. Payment will only be made once:
The customer has paid for your item in full and the sale is complete.

What if my items don't sell?
If your item has not sold by the end of the 8 week sale period, we will notify you when it is ready to be collected.
Unless we agree otherwise, you must collect your Product within 21 days after we notify you that it is ready for collection.

If, for any reason, we don't accept your item, we'll give you an open and honest reason why.

You'll receive a record of the items you have with us, a clear payment schedule, and clarity on what happens (in the unlikely event) your item is damaged or stolen.
